Allexa and Vincent's Vibrant and Eclectic Farmhouse Wedding New York by Stories by Victoria

Yay it’s Friday! That sure did come round quickly! It’s been a hectic week at Boho HQ after the fun filled activates of the last 2 weeks Eater holidays. I am finally caught up now and have a whole host of wonderful weddings and features to share with you next week, so do make sure you pop back to find out what I have in store for you. Today though it’s the turn of Allexa and Vincent who were married on 5th September 2023 at Gilbertsville Farmhouse South New Berlin in New York. They wanted an eclectic day where they mixed in vibrant colures and rustic accents with, disco balls and lots of flowers. The result is this wonderfully bright, fun and detail heavy wedding, all brought to you perfectly by Stories by Victoria.

Despite meeting as freshmen in college, it wasn’t until a few years later that a romantic connection unfolded between Allexa and Vincent. Once it did, there was no looking back for either of them! On a couples’ getaway to Maui, Vincent proposed on a secluded beach, picking the perfect setting to start their next chapter together.

Allexa and Vincent knew they wanted to add an eclectic touch to their farmhouse venue. After a forested first look, the pair said “I do” in an outdoor ceremony complete with rustic church pews, antique rugs, and even a few goats looking on. Vibrant hues of red, pink, and orange evoked a sunset, adding pops of color to Allexa’s bouquet (which she made the day before!), bridesmaid dresses, and lively tablescapes covered in terracotta runners and bud vases. And the floral arrangements weren’t the only DIY project — Allexa also made the welcome sign, botanical seating chart, custom newspapers, menus, and disco ball vases! From big disco vibes to a funky weed bar, there’s no doubt that Allexa and Vincent’s wedding day is one their guests will never forget.
