Ashley and Joe’s Peaky Blinders Inspired Winter Wedding in Pennsylvania by Ray of Sunshine Photography

Snuggle up and get cosy because today we are all about winter weddings here on the blog with the wonderful winter wedding of Ashley and Joe were married on 14th January 2023 at HollyHedge Estate in Pennsylvania. The whole day is just pure joy from beginning to end, mainly down to Ashley and Joe’s obvious love for each other, they simply radiate love for each other. The warm smiles and laughter certainly brighten up this cold January day. There is something so inviting about a winter wedding and Ashley and Joe have certainly embraced this time of year with their decoration; candles, pine cones and seasonal flowers, it all looks amazing. Big thanks to Ray of Sunshine Photography for these beautiful photos.

Erin the photographer tells is more about the day

What a beautiful wedding amongst two beautiful souls! The couple and their wedding party were so much fun and we had a great day celebrating. I loved the wedding colours and guys suits. It was perfect for a wintery garden estate wedding. The party really got started at the reception and I loved that the bride belted out a few songs on the mic!

Love story from couple

We met seeing a band of mutual friends play in a bar in Manayunk. We started dating before the covid lock down – Joe actually made it official on our last date to the Sixers game before the lockdown. Then, Joe would come and spend time with me at my apartment in the city. We always had fun watching movies, playing games, having dance/karaoke parties, cooking gourmet dinners, and facetiming our friends and families together. There was always something so obvious and natural about us being together. Now, it doesn’t matter if we stay home or go out with friends or family, we genuinely enjoy each other’s company and it’s always been that way for us.
