Ashton and Graham's Festive Inspired 'Moody Boho' Washington DC Wedding by Shelly Pate

Hello Tuesday, Wow it’s cold! It seems that winter is well and truly here now, what’s it like where you are? As it’s less than 3 weeks to Christmas, I am delighted to be bringing you some super festive weddings and styled shoots, starting with this gorgeous ‘Moody Boho’ themed wedding from Washingtom DC. Ashton and Graham were actually married on 13th October 2019, even though their wedding looks super Christmassy. They had portraits at the National Arboretum, with the ceremony and reception at Iron Gate Restaurant in Dupont Circle. I just love the flowers, the candles, the table decor, it all looks amazing, so opulent and super festive. Big thanks to Shelly Pate for the gorgeous photos.

The dress
The dress was by Maggie Sottero (Re-designed by Cheryl T Lofton & Associates alterations) with shoes by Bella Belle.

Flowers
Flowers were Organic, free-form style bouquet. Textured and dancing flowers. Anemones, burgundy garden roses, astrantia’s, hanging burgundy amaranthus, eucalyptus, lemon leaves. Moody boho style, woodland aesthetic
